After having the best qualifying in her F1 career, Marit started the race from 7th position. Marit defended the position during the race, but after about 35 laps she had an incident on turn four and barrel rolled. She was about to lap a slower driver when he closed the door and Marit rolled on the waves. Luckily both health and boat turned out ok, but the team is now working hard to get everything ready for tomorrows race. Lots of electrical parts must be changed and there's a small crack on the boat.

Race was won by Cappelini in front of Cantando and Jonas. Jonas also had a barrel roll in time trials this morning, but also he came out in good shape and did a good race defending his position as a world championship leader.
