The Singer

Besides being one of the most profiled Norwegian powerboat pilots, Marit Strømøy works as a singer. She has worked many years for Wallmans Salonger both in Copenhagen and Oslo and has more than 1000 shows for this company.

 In 2005 Marit entered the Norwegian final of Eurovision with the group Blissed in Oslo Spektrum and in 2006 she was in the semifinal in Bodø as a soloartist.

She has worked with some well known names in the Scandinavian record industry such as A-ha, Lisa Nilsson, Tommy Körberg, Trine Rein and Jørn Hoel.

Now Marit is working as a frilance artist and singer. She works with a couple of bands and showgroups such as Wallmans On Tour, Fattigmannsbandet and Nils Mathisen Band.
