F1 Team Sweden visits Dubai for the final of Offshore Class One!

Team Jotun invited us to their VIP tent for the final race of the World Championship of Offshore Class One. Unfortunately the boat broke down after a few laps, but we saw Spirit of Norway win the race and our friend Arif in Victory 77 win the Championship and had a great day in Dubai.

Jonas 3rd, electrical problems for Marit in Abu Dhabi!

Marit stopped after 44 laps with electrical problems and ended 14th. The race was won by Sami Selio followed by Guido Cappelini and Jonas Andersson in F1 Team Sweden was 3rd.

Abu Dhabi next!

After four shows at Wallmans in Copenhagen this week, I’m now packing my bags and returning down to the Middle East for the final two races of the F1 World Championship. The first race will take place in Abu Dhabi on the 7th of December. After the race we will pack the containers and head for Sharjah for the final race at the 14th.

F1 has so far been an adventure for us all. The two races in Qatar were great and we hope to do even better in the last two events. Our web will be updated as often as possible. If you log on to www.f1boat.com you will get the latest updates.

Marit at 11th!

Marit ended at 11th position in the race just a couple of seconds behind Fabrizio Bocca and Bob Trask in 9th and 10th. It was an exiting battle between the three and Linwu Peng during the entire race.

Race winner was Guido Cappelini followed by Thani Al Qamzi and Pierre Lundin. Jonas Andersson in F1 Team Sweden broke down with engine failure 10 laps in the race from a third position.

Qualified to 16'th place today!

Marit qualified to a 16'th place today.
Jonas in F1 team sweden drived in to a spectacular 3'th place.
